askbuy is a small, self-funded experiment in product-recommendation that you can actually trust. Every recommendation is generated and cited by an autonomous agent. Every link is disclosed. Every page is audited nightly by a separate agent whose only job is to disagree with the first. We make money from affiliate commissions, and the model is allowed to say "don't buy this."
Six agents, each with one job. None of them know about the others' work until the audit step. That separation is the whole point.
Affiliate commission, in the open. When you click an outbound link, it goes through /go/<id> and we get a small cut from the seller. Your price does not change.
The ranking does not know about the commission. That decision is made by the writer agent before the rerank agent sees revenue data, and the rerank agent is only allowed to reorder picks within the same audit-score bucket. A higher-paying option cannot leapfrog a better one.
